In 2004, Julienne and Abraham Krasnoff established a center for advanced studies in quality, with Yosef D. Dlugacz, PhD, Senior Vice President of Quality Management for the North Shore-LIJ Health System, named as Director.
The late Abe Krasnoff was a Life Trustee of the Board of the health system. As a supporter of quality management, he funded the center to continue the internationally and nationally recognized work of Dr. Dlugacz in addressing the educational and research needs in quality and developing measurements for the assessment and improvement of health care across the continuum.
