Anne M. Fried, DNP, RN, CPHQ, CHCQM

Director of Program Evaluation

Anne M. Fried has over thirty years’ experience in nursing and health care in acute care settings.  Her nursing background includes critical care, nursing education and advanced clinical practice and she has held leadership positions in nursing and quality management.  She is currently a Director of Program Evaluation at the Krasnoff Quality Management Institute, a division of North Shore-LIJ Health System which provides consulting, educational and research activities.  Prior to this position she was the Assistant Executive Director of Quality Management at North Shore University Hospital.

Dr. Fried received a Master’s degree in Nursing (Education) from New York University and has held health care quality management positions over the past twenty years.  She has expertise in performance improvement methodologies including root cause analysis and plan-do-check-act, facilitation of organization-wide performance improvement activities, and development of clinical service quality management teams.  She received a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Case Western Reserve University in January 2011.   

Dr. Fried is certified in health care quality management by both the National Association in Healthcare Quality and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians.
