Carolyn Sweetapple, RN, CPA, MBA
Vice President of Finance and Business Operations
Ms. Sweetapple is responsible for the day-to-day business and financial operations of the institute as well as the development and success of the institute’s consulting services. Her extensive and varied experience in finance, operations, and clinical care make her uniquely qualified to understand the needs of the clinical care team and the financial concerns of the organization. Her skills have proved invaluable in driving program development and growth, defining efficiencies and strengthening fiscal-hospital relations. Ms. Sweetapple was the Administrative Director of Special Projects at Southside Hospital, of the North Shore-LIJ Health System. She has served as a guest lecturer in the areas of healthcare finance, Six Sigma and process redesign. She is licensed as a certified public accountant and registered professional nurse in New York State. Ms. Sweetapple is certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds a Master’s of Business Administration in Quality Management.
